Frequently asked questions

Is the answer to your question here?

Which program is best for me?

You can find links to information on all our programs at the bottom of our website. If you are unsure and want a quick recommendation, you can start with the program selector. It will help you find the right level based on your sport, your goals and what you are currently struggling with.

How quickly will I get a response if I contact you here?

We normally respond within 24 to 48 hours on weekdays. Please note that the contact form is for general questions and enquiries. Questions about membership, payment and technical support are handled through the Help Center and are not answered here.

I have questions about membership, payment or technology. Where do I turn?

Via the Help Center. It provides answers and solutions to the most common questions, and if you still get stuck, there are clear contact routes from there. This ensures that you get help faster and that your question goes straight to the right person.

I have tried mental training before with no effect. What is different here?

Many methods focus mainly on the problem. Nervousness, overthinking, performance anxiety. It often becomes a collection of exercises that you try when there is a crisis. It may help in the moment, but it rarely creates a stable change in depth.

The Flow Mindset focuses on the person, not the problem. We start with how you function, how you react, and why things happen the way they do. From there, we work on the reason behind your patterns, and train a new way of functioning under pressure.

The Flow Mindset is a framework and process that allows you to not just manage the symptoms. You build a mindset that lasts over time, so that performance becomes more stable, not just better on certain days.

How do your programs work in practice?

You follow a clear step-by-step structure. The focus is on making mental training simple to implement and easy to repeat in everyday life. It should not be another long project to tackle.

How much time does mental training take per week?

It depends on the program and level. The basic idea is that it should be easy to get done and easy to repeat, even when life is full.

What ages are your programs suitable for?

The method works for all ages, but to get the full effect it is above all about maturity and commitment. You need to be able to take responsibility for the training, understand what you are doing and be willing to work on it over time.

If the athlete is under the age of about 14, it can be a great advantage if an adult is involved and supports the process. It’s not that the method doesn’t work, but the conditions. Younger people often have less life experience and find it harder to take on the same responsibilities themselves, so adult support can make a big difference.

For those who want extra support, it is also possible to add individual conversations with a Flow Mindset coach. For athletes under around 18 years of age, any individual coaching will be done via the Flow Mindset coach, not directly with Tommy.

The younger you are, the more it’s about starting to build a foundation. When you buy The Flow Mindset course, you have lifetime access, which means there’s no pressure to take it all in at once. You can take some parts now, and go deeper into other parts later, when you’re ready.

Our more comprehensive programs are generally geared towards athletes who are aiming to become professionals or are already professionals, and they are generally from around 18 years old and up.

What sports do you work with?

We have worked with all kinds of sports over the years. The principles behind focus, nervous system, resistance and performance under pressure are the same. The program is adapted to your sport and your everyday life.

Are your programs only suitable for elite athletes?

No, it doesn’t. The method works for youth, elite and recreational athletes. It also works for people who want to perform better in other areas of life. We focus on sport and high performers because that’s where we work the most, and where the method is built and tested under pressure.

Can I get personal coaching?

Yes, there are. There are different options depending on the program you are taking and the level you want.

In Flow Mastery and Flow Pro Partnership, individual conversations are included as part of the program. This is for those who want more guidance, follow-up and help to apply the method in your sport and your everyday life.

If you do not attend Flow Mastery or Flow Pro Partnership, you can in some cases buy a conversation or conversation package with a Flow Mindset coach who is educated and trained in the method.

Once you have access to the platform, you can see what coaching options are available to you there, and what is included in each arrangement.

Do you give lectures?

Yes, we accept requests for lectures for teams, associations and organizations. The easiest way is to use the form on our Lecture page (link in the footer of the website), where you can describe the arrangement and needs.

If you prefer to use the contact form, this is also possible. Please write with the target group, sport or industry, date period, what you want to get out of the lecture, and approximate budget. Then we can decide faster if we are the right match.

Can I book 30 minutes with Tommy to ask questions, have a coffee or bounce ideas around?

Unfortunately, Tommy is not able to take such calls. That time is prioritized for clients and ongoing programs. If you are an athlete and want support in your own development, we recommend that you start with the program selector and choose the right program level. Questions about membership, payment and technical support are handled through the Help Center.

I am a coach. Can I buy a course and use the content in my own work?

No. The courses are created for your own development and are intended to be used for yourself. The content and methodology are copyrighted and may not be copied, taught, reproduced or used as a basis for your own coaching activities without written permission.

This is not just about rights, but also about quality. The Flow Mindset is a way of working that is built in over time. It requires practice and internalization to have an impact. It is not possible to teach in a sustainable way by knowing only the theory.

I am a coach, or want to work in coaching. How can I become a Flow Mindset coach?

At the moment, we are not continuously training external coaches via an open application. The Flow Mindset is based on a method and approach that takes years to learn in depth.

When Tommy has trained a coach, it has been a rigorous process that takes about four years. That’s because this is not just about understanding the theory, but about internalizing the perspective until it becomes part of how you function in everyday life and under pressure. Only then will you be able to teach it to others in a way that will last.

The people who become involved are usually someone who:

  • have their own sports background and experience of the environment we work in
  • demonstrates a deep curiosity and desire to truly understand
  • has walked the process itself over time and done the work in practice

Questions about membership, payment or technical support are handled through our Help Center. These cases are not answered via the contact form.
